There are so many ways to volunteer that will fit into your busy schedule!

The Peterson PTSA is run exclusively by parent volunteers.  We cannot provide the events and activities without parent participation.  Becoming involved is a great way to meet families within our community and build lasting friendships.  It is also a great way to get to know the teachers and staff on a more personal level.  

If you'd like to volunteer at the school, please see the School District's Website for the volunteer packet.  

If you are interested in volunteering in a specific area, please reach out to us at volunteers@petersonptsa.com.  We will try to match you in an area that aligns with your interests and schedule.  

We are currently in need of volunteers in the following areas:

Volunteers Needed:

1. • Hospitality

     • • Organize coffee & pastries for Parent Seminars

       • Organize "Stock the Fridge" events for teachers & staff

   • Fun Day

     • • We need a team of 2-3 people to organize & lead the "Fun Day" event at the end of the school year.  This event occurs during the school day.  It is a fun-filled day where the kids play games, jump on inflatables, & enjoy snacks like popcorn & boba tea.

   • Ice Cream Social (Spring) 

     • • Because our Fall Ice Cream Social is such a well-attended event, we are adding a 2nd one in the Spring!  This is a school community event in the evening where the PTSA provides Ice Cream to students & families.  We need 2-3 people to help lead & organize.
