Donations & Volunteers needed
As we prepare to welcome our amazing Peterson staff back for a new school year, the PTSA is hosting a Back-to-School Luncheon on Thursday, August 20th. We're asking for your help by donating food, drinks, desserts, or luncheon supplies. Whether it's a homemade favorite, a store-bought dish, beverages, plates, napkins, or utensils, every contribution helps make our teachers feel appreciated and supported as they kick off the school year. We also need volunteers to help make this event a success!

Thank you for helping us show our incredible teachers and staff how much our school community values them. Your generosity and support make a meaningful difference, and we couldn't do it without you!
We look forward to celebrating our wonderful educators together.
"What My Culture Means to Me!" That’s the theme for the 2026-27 Reflections Art Program, which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. California State PTA and its members, families and kids are on the forefront of this amazing program, which increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education.
Reflections encourages students of all ages to:
Unleash creative talents and be inspired
Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
Experience the fun and joy of making art
Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.
Artwork will be judged by school-level PTAs, and students can compete to advance to the council, district, state, or even national level. For more information, visit https://capta.org/programs-events/reflections/. If you have more questions, or if you’re interested in judging entries, please email Kaushik Roy at mirage081@gmail.com.

The Scholastic Book fair will be held from September 2-4th, 2026! The book fair is a wonderful opportunity to encourage a love of reading while helping students discover new books and favorite authors.
To make this event a success, we are looking for parent volunteers to assist throughout the week. Volunteers can help with setting up, greeting students and families, assisting with purchases, organizing books, and packing up at the end of the event.
